Time flies…when you are building a brewery.
Amongst a frenzy of painting and other final touches in the brewery, we welcomed our new mash tun and kettle from Diversified Metal Engineering (DME) in PEI in mid-May. We’ve spent the last few weeks assembling, commissioning and passivating the system and are finally gearing up for testing and (hopefully) brewing this week.
We have had an incredible amount of help and support from our friends, family and community and we just want to say how grateful we are to you all (you know who you are!) And to the rest of you…thanks for your patience! There will soon be beer!
We particularly want to acknowledge a crew of talented fellows who have joined us this week from Alberta. An old friend, a new friend and an experienced brewer, Toby, Jim & Dave have been indispensable and up for anything. We could not have done it without you.
On to brewing! I promise, this time, we’ll try to keep you posted. And don’t forget to check out the beer section of the website…for an idea of what we’ll be brewing up in the days and weeks to come.
