In 2014 we achieved some important milestones. We started hiring people to help us in the brewery (and stopped asking our friends and family to volunteer on the bottling line). We won our very first award - a bronze medal at the Canadian Brewing Awards for The Vicar’s Cross.
And, while this may seem like an odd thing to count as a milestone, a friend of mine sent me a picture of Boxing Rock litter in Halifax. It seems like a weird thing to remember but to me it meant that our products had a life of their own, and maybe that the beer was so good someone couldn’t wait to get home to drink it.
