Home is where you keep your beer fridge.
In 2021 I started talking with Local Source Market about whether we might be able to find a new home together. The space we moved into on Agricola Street was simply too small - especially since we started operating a pandemic-fuelled home delivery service out of it. We wanted a proper tiny brewery and we also needed to upgrade our retail experience a little bit.
Sometimes you ask and the universe delivers. Not long after we started looking we became aware that the property at 2790 Windsor Street in Halifax was vacant. Everyone knows this spot - it used to be an Irving, and then a garden centre and most recently a Discount car rental location. It is right where Halifax’s North End meets the West End and the moment I saw it with the “For Lease” sign in the window I knew it would be our home.
We opened our Windsor Street location on June 12, 2022 and we can’t say enough good things about our new space there. We love the neighbourhood and we love our tiny patio. We especially love all the space and working alongside our great partners at Local Source Market.
