La Rive du Sud is a Biere de Garde, a French style strong pale ale originating from the farmhouses of Northern France. True to this style our beer is made with simple base malts that offer biscuit, caramel and toffee notes, also offering a medium body mouth feel that offers a medium-dry and refreshing finish. The strong 7.5% ABV and dark caramelized sugar of the malts adds to the noteworthy complexity of this ale, and a lingering pleasant aftertaste that can only be described as “French.”
