The Great Beer Heist of 2023

I don’t know if it has been because this 10-year anniversary has been looming or what, but the past year we seem to be getting a lot of firsts.  I find myself saying “I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years and THAT’s never happened before!”

Well I think the Great Beer Heist of 2023 was the most memorable first.  It took almost 10 years for us to be robbed.  

When I got the call from Krista early on a Wednesday morning my reaction was solid incredulity.  I just could not believe it.  Beer is heavy and hard to steal.  And not only that, what on earth were they going to do with it? After talking to the police and our team we decided we would post the surveillance images of the robbers and their vehicles on Facebook just to see.  After all, they stole ALOT of beer.  Maybe it would turn up at a party somewhere and maybe one of our loyal fans would swoop in and identify the robbers.

Although the offenders are still at large, we sincerely appreciate all the attempts our customers made to help us identify the people and the vehicles who violated our beer storage container on Windsor Street.  And we are very grateful to those of you who pointed out that our beer is indeed, worth stealing.
